Frequently Asked Questions ( FAQ )

After 22 years in Los Angeles, CA, we relocated to eternally sunny and car-preservingly dry Las Vegas….the worlds greatest adult playground and a growing epicenter of high-end auto restoration. Only 12 minutes from the airport and less than 10 minutes from the center of the famous Las Vegas Strip, our shop is easy to reach.

We sell to any location worldwide and will assist you in making shipping arrangements, obtaining insurance and otherwise making sure that your brand new Grand Wagoneer arrives at its new home safely.

Once we know where a car is going, we can build it with your local emissions requirements in mind. We can choose and configure an engine that will pass the world’s most stringent emissions testing.

Whenever commissioning a brand new restoration, you have the choice to have your Grand Wagon painted in any color that you desire, whether an original Jeep color, one of our bespoke artistically modified “factory” colors, or from another vehicle make and model.

Although 90% of our Wagoneers feature either the very popular late-model factory Dark Sand Tan or Cordovan dark burgundy interior colors, I can offer you some truly stunning alternatives to create a custom color palette.

Within the United States, enclosed auto transport by our preferred, high-end, experienced and conscientious shipping vendors varies by location and distance from Las Vegas. It generally ranges in price from 700 to 3000 (for more remote areas) dollars. Open transport (on standard car carrier trucks) saves about 40%.

International ocean liner freight varies by location, proximity to a major port, and seasonal variances. Believe it or not, international RORO (“Roll On, Roll Off”: Shipping in large, multi-level parking garages built into huge cargo ships) shipping to countries like those in Northern Europe is often less expensive than enclosed auto transport to distant cities inside the US.

Whatever the destination, we will assist you in making arrangements with reputable, dependable vendors, and can help advise you on how best to insure your investment during the transportation process.

It’s not nearly as complicated and difficult, nor risky, as most people assume.

If you purchase a Grand Wagoneer Ultra Restoration that is in inventory and currently in production, completion time can take from 1-18 months, depending on how far along we are.

If you commission a brand new restoration on your existing Wagoneer, or request a model year that we do not have in stock which requires search/inspection and purchase of a new “donor” vehicle, the process can take up to 2.5 years, depending on the current production backlog.

With an average of 1990 expert in-house labor hours (plus hundreds of labor hours more from specialty vendors) required to build each one of our true, frame-off, “nut-and-bolt” Ultra Restorations, perfection takes time.
